Ihsan (Sammy) Farha was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1959, he is a professional poker player with three WSOP bracelets and currently lives in Houston, Texas.

Farha moved to the United States as a teenager due to civil war in Lebanon going to Wichita, Kansas in 1977, also studied at the University of Kansas where he majored in Business Administration and moved to Kansas to work with his brother , where he first played poker in 1990 decided to leave his job to play poker full time! Their victories in the World Series of Poker was in 1996, 2006 and 2010.
