Philip "Phil" Laak was born on September 8, 1972 in Dublin, Ireland is an Irish professional poker player with a WSOP bracelet!

Although born in Dublin, Laak has grown on the east coast of the United States and now lives in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Laak learned poker when he was a child, and his 1st title for playing poker in a live tournament was in February 2004 at the World Poker Tour, and only in 2010 won his 1st title of the WSOP.
