Oleksii Kovalchuk Wins Event 26 WSOP 2011


Oleksii Kovalchuk Wins $689,739 on Event 26:

 

The professional poker player Ukrainian Oleksii Kovalchuk won the 26th WSOP in 2011 ($ 2,500 No Limit Hold'em) thus winning his 1st bracelet in his career at just 21 years, and it's the 2nd Ukrainian to win a bracelet at the WSOP 2011 Eugene Katchalov was the first.

 

Unlike most players with 21 years of age who enter so enter his 1st WSOP super ego, Kovlachuk spent his time in his first final table while remaining extremely quiet. Well educated and even a little humble, Kovalchuk was quick to point out how difficult the competition was in the "$ 2,500 Six-Handed No Limit Hold'em" final table and even quicker to admit he was lucky to get into the circle of winners.
