Doyle Brunson


 

Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson was born on August 10 1933, he is the greatest legend of all times of professional poker player, playing for over 40 years and still has 10 WSOP bracelets, Brunson was true for ten-time winner main event World Series of Poker!

 

As a young Brunson was very good at sport but after an accident had to leave the sport. In 1954 he graduated Bachelor and then Master of business administration from Hardin-Simmons University, then got his first job, but after one day was invited to participate in a game of Poker Seven Card Stud, and his winnings in three hours the equivalent of what he would win in a month's work, Brunson gives up his job to become a professional poker player!

 

Brunson started his career playing in illegal casinos in the city of Fortworth, then began traveling the country to play in tournaments where he met Sailor Roberts and Amarillo Slim with whom he formed a partnership and shared profits among themselves, but after six years of partnership at Las Vegas they tried to increase their profits and eventually they have lost all the money they had, thus ending the partnership! Then he began to play alone, having won 10 titles in consecutive years and including WSOP and a WPT title to date! Brunson also wrote a well-known book "Super / System" and in 2004 made a review of the book and released the "Super / System 2"!
